"...fears the Tooth Fairy"? Why aren't more people reading this?

Prez. I'm gonna be painfully truthful about this so please dont think I'm being rude. But this comic is horrible. The panels overlap and the white space is really unnecessary. The word obscure the scenerey and they are hard to read on top of that. Even moreso, one of the characters still has a whitespace just colored in around her. This makes the comic look really unprofessional.

But, is you would like, I can give you some pointers on how to reduce these mistakes and make your comics alot better. If you're interested, let me know. I'm a pretty good comic maker with two years under my belt, so I could help you alot if you want me to.

Yeah... there's alot of comics that suffer from not having text bubbles. You really should make text bubbles or boxes, if the colors of the text match the background. Not trying to pick at your comic, but that's one thing that'll help it alot.

Also you REALLY shouldn't leave blank spaces purposely, or use a brush tool for panels.

((P.S. You spelled teeth wrong))

@Bruce the Hedgehound: I'm working on it, working on it!

@321TaTer: Speech bubbles are for wimps. Besides, it's supposed to say "tooths". Carla's a 6-year-old in a 9-year-old body, you could say.

@Lugbzurg: Hehe, thanks.

@TeamSonicPrez: Oh. I didn't know she was supposed to be like a baby~

And, what? Speech bubbles are for wimps? How is it for wimps? By using Speech bubbles, your freaking taking time to make your comic readable, and look good. It really does look lazy without speech bubbles, anyways... (or just atleast put a line pointing between the text and the person who's talking)

Posted @ November 3rd, 2011, 9:55 am

@321TaTer: I will use the lines eventually. Speech bubbles are for wimps because they prove you can't read text without some white behing it.

Posted @ November 3rd, 2011, 4:00 pm

@TeamSonicPrez: That doesn't even make sense, AND you don't have to use white, ya' know. Most people make it the color of the character talking...

Unfortunately, I can't be too much help here since the program I use is completely different than the programs that everyone else uses (I use the sprite editor for a game-making program >w>;)

Posted @ November 3rd, 2011, 6:41 pm

@TeamSonicPrez: So are you saying that pretty much every webcomic maker on the internet is a wimp, just because they use speech bubbles?

That doesn't even logic.

Wow. You are an asshole.

You treat Bruce like you freaking wanna rape him, yet with 321, you flame EVEN THOUGH HE'S BEING CONSTRUCTIVE. WHAT THE FUCK.

Yeah, and you know what else? I WAS trying to be nice, then you say 'speech bubbles are for wimps'. Wth, I mean seriously?

I was just trying to help you make your comic look better.

And really, it's wimpier to NOT use speech bubbles, because that's just pure laziness.

Posted @ November 4th, 2011, 10:11 am

TSP i hate to side with a former voice but you need to use speach bubbles. not every background will allow you to not use speach bubbles.

Posted @ November 4th, 2011, 10:28 am

@Bruce the Hedgehound: Oh, come now. The comic is not "horrible"! This is easily at a presentable level. She got a good background, her character actually moves, she bothered to use some effects and there are no screaming colors in sight.

Posted @ November 5th, 2011, 8:08 am

@Lugbzurg: She left blank space, poorly wrote Blank Space in it, didn't use speech bubbles, made the panel borders terrible, had the panels overlapping, resized the sprites wrong, left a box around Clara's sprite, Clara came out of nowhere, and Sunny didn't even look at Clara.

@Lugbzurg: Lugzburg, I thought'd I'd never say this to a fellow brony, but ARE YOU FUCKING BLIND?

Posted @ November 5th, 2011, 11:18 am

@Extreme5000: No. I didn't say anything about it being a stellar masterpiece. Just that it wasn't "horrible".

> There's a good background. There's a background, period.
> The character actually moves.
> There's a nice special effect around the character.
> No screaming colors in sight.
> Sprites are colored decently, rather than simply using one shade of yellow.
> There aren't bits and pieces of adjacent sprites surrounding the character.

You know just as much as I do that we have both seen MUCH worse. Even the first page of my comic, Sonic Future had the character frozen stiff, using a really pathetic joke, had no background and no special effects.

This doesn't look as bad as these people are making it out to be.

> There's a nice special effect around the character.

Um Lug, what nice special effect?

> There aren't bits and pieces of adjacent sprites surrounding the character.

But the yellow hedgehog is blurry and there's a green box around the other character.

@Slyfer: > Fade.

> Irrelevant. You try to counter by bringing up something completely unrelated to what I just said.

It's like you're trying to enforce the idea that there is no such thing as a comic that looks worse than this.

There's a fade effect? Where be dis?

And yes I know it's irrelevant, it's still a point though
